You are a detail-oriented individual with a Bachelor's Degree and a strong understanding of laboratory processes. You thrive in a systematic environment and can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high accuracy. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as you will engage with various laboratory employees to ensure smooth operations. You are proficient with standard office software and technology, which aids in your ability to adapt to new processes quickly.
What you'll do
As a Clinical Lab Associate I, you will be responsible for facilitating efficient specimen returns and send-outs to custodian pathology laboratories and Tempus partners. You will monitor high-priority requests and audits to ensure customer retention and satisfaction, while also sorting, filing, and maintaining long-term FFPE specimen storage. Your role will require you to develop a firm understanding of lab processes and databases, ensuring that all sample return documentation is professional, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant. You will engage in timely issue reporting and resolution, building and maintaining effective relationships with other laboratory employees to support the overall mission of Tempus.
