TheyDo is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to shape their internal data platform and support AI-powered features. You'll work with technologies like Airflow, AWS, and BigQuery. This position requires strong experience in data engineering and pipeline design.

Who you are

You have a strong background in data engineering with a focus on building scalable and maintainable data pipelines. Your experience includes working with cloud platforms like AWS and tools such as Airflow for orchestrating data workflows. You understand the importance of data quality and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that the data layer supports robust product decisions. You are a pragmatic perfectionist who values readability and simplicity while also considering performance and long-term maintainability. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively within a diverse team, contributing to a culture that prioritizes customer-centricity.

You have experience with SQL and Python, enabling you to manipulate and analyze data efficiently. Your familiarity with BigQuery and other data warehousing solutions allows you to design and maintain data architectures that support internal insights and AI features. You are comfortable working in a fully remote environment and appreciate the flexibility it offers, while also being committed to delivering high-quality results.

Desirable

Experience with Docker and containerization technologies is a plus, as it enhances your ability to deploy and manage data applications effectively.
