What you'll do

As a Senior GoLang Engineer at Tide, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining payroll software that is designed to be easy to use. You will work closely with the Payroll team to tackle the complexities of UK payroll compliance while ensuring that the software scales effectively to meet the needs of Tide's growing user base. Your role will involve designing and implementing features that enhance the user experience and streamline payroll processes for SMEs.

You will contribute to the architecture of a modular Go monolith that integrates seamlessly with Tide's microservices ecosystem. This will involve collaborating with other engineers to ensure that the software components are well-designed and can evolve into standalone services as needed. You will also participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and improvement within the team.

Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Tide's payroll solutions, helping to drive user acquisition and retention.
