You are a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and a passion for reliability. You have experience with AWS and serverless architectures, enabling you to design and maintain scalable systems that support business operations. Your expertise in monitoring and observability tools allows you to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime for users.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in reliability engineering. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by a keen attention to detail, allowing you to navigate complex systems and improve processes continuously. You understand the importance of automation in reducing manual work and enhancing productivity, and you are committed to driving innovation within your team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure that supports TravelPerk's mission of transforming travel and spend management. You will implement monitoring and observability solutions to ensure system performance and reliability, proactively identifying potential issues before they impact users. You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling rapid deployment of new features and improvements.
You will also be responsible for incident management, responding to outages and performance issues with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term solutions. Your contributions will help shape the reliability practices within the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge of best practices in site reliability engineering.
