Who you are
You have extensive experience in public affairs and policy advocacy, ideally within the e-commerce or technology sectors. Your background includes engaging with government bodies and influencing industry dialogue, which has equipped you with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in Central and Eastern Europe. You possess strong leadership skills and have a proven track record of developing and executing public policy strategies that align with business priorities.
You are adept at building relationships with senior policymakers and regulators, advocating for outcomes that support commerce-enabling regulations. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to effectively represent your organization and enhance its brand reputation through media and stakeholder relations. You thrive in complex environments and are skilled at navigating the intricacies of public policy engagement across multiple markets.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of public policy strategies for Trendyol, focusing initially on Romania and expanding to other key markets in Central and Eastern Europe, including Greece, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, Czechia, and Poland. You will be responsible for shaping the company's public affairs strategy, driving strategic collaborations, and enhancing Trendyol's presence in the region.
You will engage with government bodies and industry stakeholders to advocate for policy outcomes that align with Trendyol's business objectives. This includes representing the company in discussions with senior policymakers and regulators, as well as building a scalable framework for long-term government engagement across the region. Your role will involve analyzing regulatory developments and their potential impact on the business, ensuring that Trendyol remains at the forefront of industry dialogue.
