Who you are
You have a strong background in legal practices, particularly in fintech, banking, and financial services. Your experience includes providing legal guidance on complex regulatory frameworks and corporate law, ensuring that business decisions are informed by legal insights. You are solution-oriented and capable of navigating intricate legal landscapes to support business objectives.
You possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to prepare legal opinions on various matters including banking, payment services, and capital markets. Your ability to monitor regulatory developments ensures that your organization remains compliant with evolving laws and regulations. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement compliant processes that support operational readiness.
What you'll do
In this role, you will provide hands-on legal guidance on a range of fintech and banking products. You will design and implement legal and regulatory frameworks for new offerings, ensuring that all products comply with applicable laws. Your responsibilities will include preparing legal opinions on matters related to banking, BaaS, payment services, e-money, and capital markets.
You will support licensing and regulatory filings, as well as manage share transfers and change-of-control processes. Monitoring regulatory developments will be a key part of your role, allowing you to proactively address compliance issues. You will collaborate closely with various teams across the organization, embedding legal thinking into every stage of business design to safeguard the companyβs integrity while enabling sustainable growth.
