Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of managing data pipelines and infrastructure. Your expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, allows you to design and implement scalable solutions that meet the demands of a high-transaction environment. You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL, enabling you to develop efficient data processing workflows. You have experience with tools like Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows, ensuring data quality and reliability. Your leadership skills shine as you mentor and guide a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. You understand the importance of cross-functional collaboration, working closely with product, engineering, and data science teams to align data initiatives with business goals.

Desirable

Experience with big data technologies and frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop would be a plus, as would familiarity with data warehousing solutions. A background in the advertising technology sector can help you navigate the unique challenges of this industry. You are comfortable with agile methodologies and have a knack for problem-solving in fast-paced settings.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Data Engineering team at TripleLift, overseeing the end-to-end management of data pipelines that support our AdTech Exchange. You will ensure the seamless ingestion, storage, and retrieval of event data from multiple sources, playing a critical role in maintaining the integrity and performance of our data infrastructure. You will collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, and data science to identify data needs and develop solutions that drive business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include mentoring team members, expanding the team as needed, and implementing best practices for data management and engineering. You will also be involved in strategic planning, helping to shape the future direction of our data initiatives and ensuring alignment with company goals.
