You possess excellent leadership skills, having defined team charters and operating models in previous roles. You understand the importance of collaboration and are adept at guiding BI Analysts, helping them transition into direct management roles as the team grows. Your experience in financial planning models and data warehouse integration is a significant asset, enabling you to ensure seamless operations between various systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building the BI organization within the Finance department. You will define the team charter, establish the operating model, and create a hiring plan to expand the team. As a lead, you will provide guidance to BI Analysts hired by Business Systems, ensuring they are well-integrated into the team and aligned with the overall objectives.

You will design and implement the semantic layer that underpins the BI function, ensuring that data is structured and accessible for reporting and analysis. Your role will involve creating and maintaining dashboards using Tableau and Looker, providing stakeholders with the insights they need to make informed decisions.

Additionally, you will review and improve existing data pipelines, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and reliability. You will also play a key role in establishing the financial planning model, ensuring that it aligns with the data warehouse and other planning tools.

Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. You will mentor team members, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers. You will also be responsible for communicating the value of BI initiatives to senior leadership, demonstrating how data-driven insights can enhance business performance.
