Who you are

You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager with a strong background in accounting processes and financial operations. You have experience working in a controlled and compliant environment, ensuring exceptional accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. Your analytical skills are complemented by your ability to engage with leadership on performance reviews and drive operational excellence.

You possess advanced skills in MS Excel, enabling you to work with large data sets and perform complex financial analyses. You are comfortable with financial reporting, forecasting, and P&L analysis, and you have a keen eye for detail when it comes to managing journal entries and reconciliations. Your experience in establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for business initiatives sets you apart as a strategic thinker.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be critical in ensuring that the accounting processes run smoothly within the FOAA team. You will support the month-end close process and drive operational excellence by upholding rigorous financial control standards. Your responsibilities will include preparing reconciliations, managing journal entries, and performing financial reporting and forecasts.

You will engage with leadership on performance reviews, providing insights and analyses that align with Amazon’s leadership principles. Additionally, you will establish, measure, and monitor weekly KPI metric discussions for new and existing business initiatives, assisting in measuring and reporting progress on key goals for the business team.

Your role will also involve performing ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling to support decision-making processes. You will collaborate closely with Central Accounting, Finance Operations, and Global Finance teams to ensure that financial operations are aligned with the company's objectives.
