Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in program management, ideally with 5+ years of experience leading complex projects in the aerospace or defense sectors. Your experience includes working with commercial customers and U.S. Government agencies such as the DoD, Space Force, or NASA. You excel at building relationships and have a proven track record of managing integrated teams to deliver on technical, schedule, and cost objectives.

You are skilled in developing program execution strategies and master schedules, coordinating across various internal functions to ensure alignment and success. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to serve as the primary interface with customers and stakeholders, effectively representing your organization in all program-related matters.

What you'll do

As a Program Manager at Turion Space, you will lead the planning and execution of one or more spacecraft or mission programs. This includes overseeing the entire lifecycle from proposal and contract negotiations to execution, delivery, and closeout. You will work closely with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to manage scope, schedule, budget, and customer communications.

You will be responsible for building and managing program teams, as well as external supplier relationships, to meet contractual and technical requirements. Monitoring and reporting on program performance metrics will be a key part of your role, ensuring that all objectives are met and that any issues are addressed promptly.

What we offer

At Turion Space, you will be part of a mission-driven organization focused on securing Earth and expanding humanity's reach beyond it. We offer a collaborative work environment where your contributions will directly impact our success. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in the aerospace industry, contributing to national security and innovative space solutions.

We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement. Join us in our mission to develop spacecraft for national security, in-space servicing, and orbital debris removal, and help shape the future of space exploration.
