Job Description
Who you are
You have 3–7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity or security engineering experience — you've led or supported real-world incident response efforts and are familiar with cloud security logging and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Your expertise extends to CI/CD pipelines, which you understand are crucial for playbook automation.
You are a vigilant guardian, passionate about forging frontline defenses in next-generation security and compliance programs. Your role involves designing automated threat detection and rapid response capabilities, ensuring real-time alerting to threats facing corporate environments. You have a strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC, and you advocate for new technologies and architectures that support security requirements.
What you'll do
In this foundational role, you will research, select, and implement processes and tools to improve detection security methodologies. You will support compliance efforts related to NIST 800-171, CMMC, and ITAR/EAR, ensuring that the organization meets all necessary security standards. You will also define security architecture design patterns and evaluate secure solutions based on approved security architecture and emerging risks.
Your responsibilities will include building automation, tooling, and systems that enhance security compliance, observability, and governance. You will monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents, conducting post-incident analysis to improve future responses. Additionally, you will implement and manage tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, MFA, PAM, DLP, and email security, ensuring that the organization remains secure against evolving threats.
What we offer
