What you'll do
As a Software Engineer on the Deployment Orchestration team, you will focus on providing product teams at Twilio with a safe, secure, and automated path to production. Your primary responsibility will be to build a unified deployment orchestrator that supports automated deployments across different environments and regions. You will leverage standard pipelines and tests to ensure that deployments are efficient and reliable.
You will collaborate closely with product teams to understand their deployment needs and work on implementing solutions that enhance their workflows. This includes developing features that facilitate progressive rollouts and implementing guardrails that help maintain system stability and security during deployments. You will also be involved in modernizing existing deployment processes, ensuring they align with best practices in the industry.
Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest trends in deployment strategies and technologies, allowing you to bring innovative ideas to the team. You will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
