What you'll do

As a Software Engineer II at Twitch, you will join the Mobile Core Engineering team and play a crucial role in shaping the foundation of mobile development. You will work on high-impact initiatives that include developing a hybrid web-to-mobile platform, enhancing performance optimization at scale, and building automated testing infrastructure. Your contributions will directly impact how hundreds of engineers build features and how millions of users experience Twitch on Android. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to establish best practices and frameworks that empower the entire mobile engineering team. You will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to your peers, ensuring that the tools and frameworks you develop are effective and user-friendly. Your work will involve analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance the overall user experience. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
