What you'll do

As a Software Development Engineer at Twitch, you will focus on developing innovative payment features that empower creators to monetize their content effectively. You will work on integrating diverse payment methods to facilitate global expansion, ensuring that creators can earn a living doing what they love. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to drive initiatives that create a frictionless and secure checkout experience for customers.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing features that enhance the monetization ecosystem, enabling customers to purchase products such as Subscriptions, Gifts, Turbo, and Bits. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that these features are not only functional but also user-friendly and compliant with international regulations.

In addition to feature development, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the payment systems. You will also monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring that the payment processes run smoothly and efficiently.
