What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of data scientists and applied scientists, guiding them in their projects and fostering a collaborative environment. You will design and execute A/B experiments to optimize various marketplace levers, including pricing and incentives. Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams, you will drive strategic decision-making that maximizes merchant ROI and enhances growth and profitability across the Delivery business.

You will define and measure key success metrics, ensuring that your team's efforts align with Uber's business objectives. Your work will directly shape Uber's strategy by leveraging advanced experimentation and a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics. You will advocate for best practices in data science and contribute to the overall success of the Merchant Optimization team.
