What you'll do

As an Engineering Manager II at Uber, you will lead a dedicated group of engineers in building a best-in-class platform. Your role will involve promoting continuous improvement within the team through code and design reviews, as well as knowledge sharing. You will collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and customers to develop a vision and roadmap for your team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals. Additionally, you will work closely with data scientists and other engineering teams to understand requirements and integrate different ad products into the data and reporting platform. You will implement operational excellence practices to ensure trust in the data platform, focusing on robust mechanisms to detect issues and recover from failures. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding your team towards achieving their goals and delivering high-quality results.
