Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or at least 1 year of full-time software engineering experience. You possess a strong foundation in frontend development, particularly with React, and have a keen eye for creating accessible and responsive user interfaces. Your experience includes collaborating closely with design and UX teams to translate wireframes into production-ready UI components, ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms.

You are passionate about building high-quality user experiences and have a solid understanding of technical standards and product direction. You thrive in a collaborative environment where you can partner with product and design teams to turn advertiser needs into intuitive workflows. Your ability to maintain consistency through shared component libraries and design systems is a key strength.

What you'll do

As a Frontend Engineer II at Uber, you will be at the forefront of building the Ads Manager portal, a critical tool for brands to manage their advertising campaigns on Uber's marketplace. You will design and implement high-performance user interfaces using React and Fusion.js, ensuring that the experiences you create are not only functional but also engaging and user-friendly. You will work closely with product and design teams to evolve advertiser-facing surfaces for campaign management and reporting, contributing to the overall success of Uber Advertising.

In this role, you will help shape the technical standards and product direction for a new advertising surface at Uber, making a significant impact on how brands interact with the platform. You will be responsible for building and evolving the core advertiser-facing experiences, ensuring they are scalable and meet the needs of enterprise advertisers.
