Uber is hiring a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to build web experiences that enhance user interactions. You'll work with JavaScript, React, and other modern frameworks in Rio de Janeiro. This position requires proficiency in web application architecture and 4+ years of software engineering experience.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or you bring 4+ years of professional software engineering experience. Your proficiency in JavaScript, along with frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular, enables you to create dynamic web applications. You possess a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and web APIs, which allows you to build seamless user experiences. Your advanced English communication skills help you collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, backend, and data science. You have a strong foundation in algorithms and data structures, including hash tables, trees, stacks, queues, and traversal techniques like DFS and BFS.

Desirable

Experience with backend systems using languages such as Go, Python, or TypeScript would be a plus, as it complements your frontend expertise and enhances your ability to contribute to full-stack projects.
