Who you are

You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on iOS development. Your proficiency in platform-specific architecture patterns and frameworks, particularly Swift and UIKit, allows you to create seamless user experiences. You understand the importance of user experience and performance optimization on mobile platforms, and you have a self-starter mindset with a bias for shipping impactful features. Your experience includes mentoring junior engineers and contributing to broader technical strategies, fostering a culture of metrics-driven engineering.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and development of end-to-end autonomous vehicle rider experiences, including booking flows and on-trip interactions. You will partner closely with product managers, designers, and backend leads to own product outcomes and ensure a cohesive user journey. Your responsibilities will include driving rigorous experimentation and data-driven iteration across various experience surfaces, ensuring that the features you develop meet user needs and expectations. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and contribute to the team's success.

What we offer

Uber provides a competitive salary range of USD$202,000 to USD$224,000 per year, along with eligibility for the company's bonus program.
