What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Uber, you will serve as the architect for the Ad Serving and Data Infra organization, defining the long-term technical vision and ensuring alignment between serving and attribution systems. You will tackle the organization’s most complex challenges, such as re-engineering critical paths to achieve sub-20ms latency while maintaining 100% data accuracy for attribution. You will mentor and grow senior and staff-level engineers, promoting a culture of rigorous design reviews and high-velocity innovation. Additionally, you will partner with product and data science leadership to design foundational capabilities that enable new ad formats across Uber’s global marketplace. Your role will also involve driving operational rigor by identifying systemic risks and implementing frameworks that minimize technical debt and toil for all engineering teams.
