You possess excellent mentorship abilities, having guided senior and staff engineers to elevate the technical standards of your team. Your communication skills enable you to represent your team effectively in cross-functional forums, aligning complex technical topics with product and executive leadership. You are passionate about fostering innovation and driving alignment across diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will define and drive the long-term technical strategy for the Marketplace Segmentation domain, influencing decisions across various engineering teams. You will lead impactful initiatives that span multiple teams, directly contributing to Uber's goals for marketplace efficiency and profitability. Your responsibilities will include providing technical mentorship to engineers, identifying fundamental challenges in matching and pricing, and proposing novel solutions that enhance user experience.

You will act as a technical thought leader, representing your team in cross-functional discussions and driving alignment on complex topics. Your work will involve architecting scalable and resilient systems that support Uber's core rides business, ensuring that the products you build cater to diverse rider needs and market conditions.
