Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Engineering Manager in a software, SaaS, or systems development environment, with a total of 8+ years in the field. Your strong technical background in platform development at scale allows you to understand complex technical designs and challenges, enabling you to propose effective solutions. You possess solid technical aptitude and can engage with engineering teams to conceptualize strategic initiatives and develop them into detailed project plans. Your ability to track progress, resolve dependencies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders is key to your success in this role.
What you'll do
As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Uber, you will lead high-impact initiatives for the Delivery Marketplace engineering team. You will project manage complex, large-scale, cross-team initiatives from planning to execution, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned and on track. Your role will involve accelerating execution velocity by driving accountability and mitigating risks while maintaining clear communication with key program stakeholders. You will engage and energize teams, fostering collaboration and ownership of initiatives. Additionally, you will develop broad domain and technical knowledge to understand the architecture level of implementations and propose alternatives when necessary.
