Who you are

You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience in a microservice environment — you've built, deployed, and maintained scalable systems in a cloud setting, ensuring high performance and quality. Your hands-on experience allows you to solve complex problems at scale, and you thrive in a distributed microservices environment.

You possess a strong understanding of backend technologies and are familiar with concepts like Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event Sourcing, and Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) — these skills will give you an advantage in this role. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with various teams to deliver groundbreaking features in the fields of Banking, Payments, Cards, and Lending.

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Unit, you will implement enterprise-grade backend services that can handle the scale of our operations — your role will involve owning and developing features end-to-end, from design through implementation, testing, and deployment. You will interact with different teams across the company to deliver innovative solutions that empower our clients and their end-customers.

You will be responsible for solving diverse and complex problems in a large-scale distributed environment — your expertise will help shape the direction of our product and company.
