Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong passion for games and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Game Economy — you've developed a deep understanding of the gaming market and can apply your knowledge to enhance player engagement and retention. Your educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, equipping you with the analytical skills necessary to succeed in this role. You are motivated, ambitious, and independent, with an entrepreneurial spirit that drives you to innovate and improve game economies. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, developers, and data analysts, allows you to effectively design and implement features that enhance player satisfaction and monetization opportunities.
Desirable
Experience with A/B testing and data analysis is a plus, as it will enable you to make informed decisions based on player behavior and game performance metrics. Familiarity with pricing strategies and monetization features will further enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, monitor, and balance the economy model for our hybrid-casual games, ensuring that it drives player engagement and improves key performance indicators such as retention and ARPDAU. You will build and analyze pricing funnels to increase in-app purchase share and identify areas where economic sinks and sources should be adjusted to optimize player experience and revenue. Conducting A/B tests of different economy strategies will be a key responsibility, allowing you to refine our games’ lifetime value (LTV) and overall economic health.
You will also price the game’s virtual currencies and recommend rewards and monetization features that align with player needs, ensuring a balanced and engaging economic system. Collaborating closely with our Data and Business Intelligence teams, you will craft economy reports and user segmentations, providing valuable insights to all partners involved in our games’ economies. Your role will involve working with cross-functional teams to design new and existing features that improve player satisfaction and create additional monetization opportunities.
What we offer
At Unity, you will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and creativity in game development. We offer a collaborative work environment where your ideas and contributions will be recognized and valued. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that shape the future of gaming, with the potential for professional growth and development in the gaming industry. Join us in creating engaging and successful games that resonate with players around the world.
