Overview
Vana is hiring a Fraud Prevention Analyst to lead the strategy and operations of their fraud prevention model. You'll work closely with various teams to design data-driven strategies and monitor key performance indicators. This role requires 2-4 years of experience in transactional fraud prevention.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in transactional fraud prevention, ideally within issuer, acquirer, PSP, or e-commerce environments. Your expertise lies in leading fraud prevention strategies and operations, ensuring the highest security standards for customer transactions. You possess intermediate English skills, enabling you to read technical documentation and communicate effectively with vendors. You understand consumer behavior and are familiar with alternative data sources and digital lending platforms, which are desirable traits for this role.
What you'll do
As a Fraud Prevention Analyst at Vana, you will create, calibrate, and monitor anti-fraud rules to protect our customers and optimize their payment experience. You will design dynamic rule strategies based on proven experience, continuously calibrating thresholds by evaluating indicators such as fraud rates, false positives, and approval rates. Your role will involve defining blocking strategies, 3DS, and approval processes according to risk levels. You will lead end-to-end transactional monitoring, making automated decisions and conducting manual reviews as necessary. Additionally, you will propose adjustments to fraud prevention rules and controls, supporting controlled testing with complete traceability. Monitoring and reporting on fraud KPIs and performance will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that our fraud prevention model evolves continuously.
