Who you are
You have a strong background in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and are familiar with compliance standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Your expertise allows you to bridge the gap between GRC knowledge and AI evaluation, ensuring that AI features are accurate and aligned with real-world compliance standards. You are detail-oriented and have experience in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy and usefulness.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, AI Platform Engineering, Design, Security & Privacy, and Go-To-Market teams. Your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly makes you an effective partner in shaping AI behavior and defining edge cases. You are committed to responsible AI use and understand the importance of building trustworthy AI systems.
What you'll do
As a GRC AI Subject Matter Expert at Vanta, you will design and test prompts to shape AI behavior, working alongside engineers and product managers to define edge cases and review outputs for accuracy. You will own the ground truth by building and maintaining datasets and rating guides that represent correct, real-world GRC answers. Your role will involve evaluating and improving the quality of AI outputs through side-by-side reviews and defining launch-readiness criteria.
You will measure ongoing quality and drift after release, ensuring that the AI features we ship are trustworthy and customer-ready. Your work will directly contribute to Vanta's mission of helping businesses earn and prove trust by continuously monitoring and verifying security. You will play a crucial role in the development of intelligent agents that power core GRC workflows, making security continuous and transparent for thousands of companies.
