What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer II at Vanta, you will be responsible for enhancing the scalability and reliability of our core data systems. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to understand user needs and prioritize impactful work. Your role will involve defining and evolving how we model, store, and query resource data across Vanta, ensuring that our systems are robust and capable of handling growth.

You will ship quickly and experiment thoughtfully to validate ideas and drive product velocity. In addition to your technical contributions, you will act as a cultural beacon within the team, helping to mentor junior engineers and fostering a collaborative engineering environment. Your work will directly impact the development of Vanta's Trust Management Platform, which is relied upon by thousands of companies for compliance and security monitoring.
