Desirable

Experience with security compliance standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 is a plus. Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, will help you succeed in this role. A passion for continuous improvement and a proactive approach to problem-solving will set you apart.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Vanta, you will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure that supports the scalability and performance of our core systems. You will work closely with product engineering teams to ensure that our infrastructure meets the needs of our growing customer base. Your role will involve enhancing security measures and implementing best practices for software reliability. You will leverage your expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js to build robust solutions that enable our engineers to ship reliable software at scale. You will also contribute to the development of infrastructure primitives that facilitate efficient software delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose bugs and improve the overall developer experience. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the product engineering process, making it easier for engineers to build features and deliver value to customers quickly and safely. You will participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
