Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in full stack development, demonstrating a strong ability to write clean, testable, and peer-reviewed code. Your background includes working with both frontend and backend technologies, allowing you to contribute effectively across the entire stack. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with product teams to drive feature discovery and delivery.
Your technical expertise includes proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks like React, enabling you to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces. You are also familiar with backend technologies such as Node.js, which allows you to design and implement robust server-side applications. You understand the importance of technical architecture decisions and are eager to contribute to setting the groundwork for future development.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable navigating complex technical challenges. Your experience includes working in fast-paced environments where shipping to production is a regular part of the workflow. You are passionate about optimizing processes and improving the overall product experience for users.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work directly with the founders and a tight-knit team of product engineers to ship features across the Vantage platform. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on feature ideation, driving technical architecture decisions, and ensuring that the code you write is clean and maintainable. You will be involved in the core reporting experience, new provider integrations, and onboarding/billing processes.
You will participate in regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers while also learning from their insights. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the Vantage platform, helping clients manage their cloud infrastructure costs more effectively. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
What we offer
Vantage offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 - $210,000, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the candidate. In addition to salary, you will have access to equity options, a 401(k) plan, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
