Veeva Systems is hiring an OpenData Quality Manager to oversee data quality for commercial data in the life sciences sector. You'll be responsible for measuring data quality and identifying gaps to enhance product excellence. This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in data management and quality assurance, ideally with experience in the life sciences or SaaS industries. You understand the importance of data integrity and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that data quality is maintained throughout the organization. Your analytical skills allow you to measure data quality effectively and identify potential gaps that could impact product performance. You are a proactive communicator, able to collaborate with product teams to address quality issues and drive improvements.

Desirable

Experience with data governance frameworks and tools is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM systems and analytics platforms. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality. A background in healthcare data management or related fields would be beneficial, as it will help you understand the nuances of the data you will be working with.

What you'll do

As the OpenData Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end measurement of data quality for OpenData, which serves as the foundation for commercial data in the life sciences sector. You will work closely with product teams to flag potential quality gaps and ensure that data is accurate, complete, and timely. Your role will involve developing and implementing data quality metrics and standards, as well as conducting regular audits to assess compliance with these standards. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives aimed at improving data quality and enhancing product excellence.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence product development by providing insights based on data quality assessments. You will report directly to the General Manager for OpenData in Europe, contributing to strategic discussions and decisions that impact the overall quality of the data used across the organization. Your work will play a crucial role in helping Veeva Systems maintain its reputation as a leader in the life sciences industry.
