You have a strong background in enterprise software development, ideally from a high-growth tech company, which has equipped you with the skills to operate at a global scale for hundreds of customers across North America, Europe, and Asia. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams ensures that you can contribute to the overall success of the organization.

What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on the Vault Platform team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of Veeva's enterprise applications. You will draw on your expertise in Java and modern open-source technologies to make a tangible impact on production systems. Your role will involve tackling complex challenges and ensuring that systems operate smoothly for a diverse customer base.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement best practices in reliability and scalability, contributing to the overall architecture and design of systems. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial as you address issues that arise in production, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles. You will also participate in incident management and capacity planning, ensuring that the systems can handle increasing loads as the company continues to grow.
