You are comfortable using both free source tools and in-house built applications, continuously upgrading your skills to stay current with industry best practices.

What you'll do

As a Technical Consultant at Veeva Systems, you will be a key member of the Technical Services team, specializing in environment and release management. You will oversee large-scale development workstreams, ensuring that all deployments are executed reliably and efficiently. Your role will involve collaborating with development teams to establish and maintain deployment standards, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise during the deployment process.

You will be responsible for creating release packages and managing the version control system that supports these packages — your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that all deployments are executed without conflict. You will also play a vital role in data migration efforts, ensuring that data is transferred accurately and securely.

In this role, you will utilize a dedicated toolset that includes both free source tools and proprietary applications — your ability to adapt and learn new technologies will be essential as you work to improve deployment processes and standards. You will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the deployment process, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions that drive efficiency.
