You are a motivated individual with a background in software engineering, eager to contribute to the protection of machine identities in cybersecurity. You have a solid understanding of backend development, particularly with Java and Golang, and are comfortable working in a collaborative, multicultural environment. Your experience with REST APIs and frontend technologies like React will enable you to deliver impactful features to users. You are committed to continuous learning and expanding your technical knowledge, ensuring you stay at the forefront of cybersecurity technology.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer at Venafi, you will participate in the development of cloud applications that protect machine identities for some of the largest organizations globally. You will implement REST APIs and backend application code primarily using Java and Golang microservices. Additionally, you will develop React UI components to enhance user experience and fix bugs in existing systems. Writing unit, integration, and functional tests will be essential to ensure that all requirements are met and specifications are adhered to. You will work closely with senior team members, gaining insights and knowledge while contributing to a real SaaS product that has a significant impact on cybersecurity.
