You have a strong background in software engineering, particularly with experience in building and managing cloud infrastructure. You are proficient in Golang and have hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning infrastructure. Your familiarity with workload scheduling tools like Nomad will be essential in this role. What you'll do

In this role, you will manage a fleet of clusters that run hundreds of instances across various regions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the compute platform is reliable and efficient, providing the necessary primitives for running builds, serverless functions, and middleware. You will write Golang code daily, focusing on optimizing performance and security for untrusted code from customers. You will also utilize Terraform to provision and manage the infrastructure required for these services. As part of the team, you will collaborate closely with other engineers to enhance the platform's capabilities and ensure it meets the evolving needs of Vercel's customers.
