Who you are
You have a BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software development. With 3 years of experience as a software developer in an industry setting, you possess the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with your team. You have expertise in building software and are comfortable using industry-standard tools.
You are skilled in using Git for version control and have experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud. Your proficiency in Go allows you to develop robust applications, and you are familiar with containerization technologies like Docker. Additionally, you have experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, enabling you to manage and provision resources efficiently.
What you'll do
As a Software Developer at Verily, you will work closely with the development team to design, develop, and deliver new software features across the Verily tech stack. You will tackle technical design problems, compare options, and propose effective solutions. Your role will involve building modular and composable platform components that facilitate the storage and processing of precision health data.
You will contribute to the development of various product framework components across Verily products, ensuring they are interoperable and meet the needs of the healthcare ecosystem. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential as you work to drive better health outcomes through innovative software solutions.
