Devsecops Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in application security, with experience in penetration testing across various platforms including Web, API, and Mobile. Your expertise in security automation allows you to embed security practices directly into the development lifecycle, ensuring that security is a priority from the start.

You are familiar with tools such as Burp Suite and OWASP, which you use to identify vulnerabilities and implement effective security measures. Your understanding of Docker and Kubernetes enables you to manage containerized applications securely, ensuring that security best practices are followed in cloud environments.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with development teams to integrate security into their workflows. Your proactive approach to identifying potential security risks and your ability to communicate these risks effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders make you a valuable asset to any team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting penetration tests on Verto's applications, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks. You will work closely with developers to ensure that security is integrated into the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

You will also be tasked with developing and implementing security automation tools that streamline security processes and enhance the overall security posture of the organization. Your role will involve continuous monitoring of applications and infrastructure to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a culture of security awareness, providing training and resources to help team members understand and prioritize security in their daily work. Your contributions will play a critical role in fortifying Verto's application security and ensuring the safety of our users' data.
