What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at VGW, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our online social games. You will own your projects from inception to deployment, ensuring that you build, ship, and run your applications effectively. You will work with a tech stack that includes Docker containerized applications hosted on AWS in EKS Kubernetes, utilizing Kotlin on the JVM for backend services and TypeScript with React for client-side development.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver features that enhance user experience. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and participating in design discussions to ensure the best architectural decisions are made. You will also be responsible for monitoring application performance and implementing improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
