You have a solid background in data engineering, with experience in designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines. You are proficient in Python and SQL, enabling you to automate data workflows effectively. Your familiarity with AWS services allows you to leverage cloud technologies for data management. You understand the importance of data governance and are committed to ensuring high-quality, reliable data across the organization. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with business teams to empower them in building and operating their own data pipelines. You are detail-oriented and have a strong analytical mindset, which helps you develop robust observability frameworks for data processes.

Desirable

Experience with Docker and other containerization technologies is a plus, as it enhances your ability to create reproducible environments for data workflows. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices will further strengthen your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be a key player in the Data Platform Tribe, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines. You will automate data workflows, ensuring that business teams can efficiently build and operate their own data pipelines. Your responsibilities will include developing reusable libraries and pipeline templates that streamline data processing. You will also contribute to the implementation of enterprise-wide data governance capabilities, ensuring that data is well-governed and of high quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that enhance their operational efficiency. Additionally, you will monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure they meet performance standards and reliability.
