Your technical expertise allows you to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that the needs of developers are met. You are proactive in identifying challenges developers face and are skilled at providing solutions that streamline their workflows.
You have experience with video APIs and understand the importance of seamless integration and user experience — your previous roles have involved guiding developers through complex implementations and migrations. You are familiar with the latest trends in video technology and can leverage this knowledge to advocate for best practices within the developer community. Your ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language makes you an effective communicator and educator.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead initiatives to enhance the developer experience for Vonage's video platform — you will create comprehensive documentation, tutorials, and sample applications that empower developers to build with the Video API. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to modernize the platform and facilitate the transition from legacy systems, ensuring that developers have the tools they need for a smooth migration. You will engage with the developer community through webinars, conferences, and social media, sharing insights and gathering feedback to continuously improve the platform.
You will analyze developer usage patterns and feedback to identify areas for improvement — your insights will drive product enhancements and feature development. You will also work on building a vibrant community around Vonage's video solutions, fostering relationships with developers and encouraging collaboration. Your role will be crucial in shaping the future of Vonage's video offerings and ensuring that developers can leverage these tools effectively.
