Who you are

You are a respected voice within the JavaScript community with at least five years of experience in a technical role, ideally as a developer in an enterprise environment. Your expertise in JavaScript is complemented by your ability to produce a diverse range of technical content, including videos, tutorials, workshops, and conference talks. You have a passion for sharing knowledge and equipping fellow developers with cutting-edge technology, simplifying complex concepts to facilitate understanding. While experience as a developer advocate is a plus, your background in educating developers is what truly matters. A general understanding of MongoDB would be beneficial but is not mandatory. You thrive in collaborative environments, supporting peer reviews, building demos, and delivering engaging sessions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join MongoDB's team as a Senior Developer Advocate, where your primary responsibility will be to engage with the JavaScript community. You will create and share educational content that inspires developers to adopt best practices and utilize MongoDB effectively. Your role will involve writing code and developing expertise in our platform, understanding its core capabilities, and how it integrates with enterprise languages. You will work closely with other team members at all levels, fostering discussions and sharing insights that help others grow in their technical skills. You will also be responsible for building demos and delivering sessions that showcase the power of MongoDB and JavaScript in real-world applications. Your contributions will not only enhance the community's knowledge but also position MongoDB as a leader in developer education.
