Who you are
You have a strong background in managing cloud-native infrastructure, with a focus on Kubernetes and automation tools. Your experience with Python and Go allows you to build self-service tools that enhance developer productivity and streamline operations. You understand the importance of high availability and scalability in production environments, ensuring that APIs remain accessible and efficient.
You are skilled in using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to optimize deployment pipelines, making the path to production seamless for global teams. Your knowledge of Terraform enables you to manage infrastructure as code, ensuring that environments are provisioned and maintained effectively. You are proactive in identifying and troubleshooting complex issues within large-scale Kubernetes clusters, ensuring that performance bottlenecks are resolved swiftly.
What you'll do
As a Platform Engineer III at Vonage, you will take ownership of our cloud-native infrastructure, leading the design and maintenance of resilient environments that meet high-availability requirements. You will build and evolve our internal developer platform, using Go to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflows. Your role will involve acting as a key technical resource for our Kubernetes operations, diving deep into the stack to troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues.
You will also implement guardrails using Kyverno to ensure that security and best practices are baked into our clusters as we scale. By streamlining delivery processes, you will optimize our GitHub Actions and ArgoCD pipelines, enabling teams to deploy code efficiently and effectively. Your contributions will help eliminate developer friction and enhance the overall productivity of our engineering teams.
