Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, with a focus on cloud communications and voice-related technologies. Your ability to identify and qualify business opportunities is exceptional, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively educate clients about product capabilities and prepare compelling proposals for decision-makers. Your experience in managing the sales process from initial contact to closing deals is well-established, and you are adept at overcoming objections and navigating complex decision-making processes. You are results-driven, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets while maintaining strong relationships with customers throughout the implementation process.
Desirable
Experience in unified communications or contact center solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with communications APIs. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and can adapt to the needs of a diverse customer base, from small businesses to large enterprises.
What you'll do
In this role, you will join Vonageโs Field Sales organization, focusing on Cloud Solutions Sales. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and acquire new customers for Vonageโs robust communications solutions. You will collaborate with team members to develop effective account and territory selling strategies, ensuring that you address the unique needs of each customer. You will contact both new and existing customers, educating them about Vonageโs products and services, with a particular emphasis on voice technologies. Your role will involve identifying cost-effective solutions and working with cross-functional teams to bundle service offerings that meet customer requirements. You will prepare formal proposals and present them to decision-makers, managing all steps of the selling process to ensure a smooth transition to account management post-sale. You will also maintain customer contact during the implementation phase, addressing any service billing questions and ensuring a successful onboarding experience.
