Overview
Waabi is seeking a Senior Controller to lead the financial organization as they scale their self-driving technology. You'll oversee compliance with GAAP standards and implement best practices in financial governance. This role requires experience in financial leadership and ERP systems.

Who you are
You have extensive experience in financial leadership, ideally with a background in technology or rapidly growing companies. Your expertise in GAAP standards ensures that you can maintain compliance while safeguarding company assets. You are skilled in translating complex financial operations into clear narratives, allowing stakeholders to understand the financial health of the organization. You have a proven track record of developing and implementing best practices and processes that enhance financial governance and transparency. Your hands-on experience with ERP systems will be invaluable as you lead the implementation of scalable financial processes. You are passionate about self-driving technologies and are excited to contribute to a company that is revolutionizing the transportation industry.
Desirable
Experience in a startup environment or rapidly growing technology company is a plus. Familiarity with payroll requirements in both Canada and the US will be beneficial. If you have experience preparing for an IPO, whether in an advisory or operational capacity, that would be an added advantage.
