Who you are

You have a strong background in IT operations, with experience leading teams and fostering a collaborative environment. You understand the importance of developing and enforcing IT policies and best practices to ensure compliance with security standards and industry regulations. Your expertise includes designing and managing disaster recovery plans to maintain business continuity and data integrity.

You are skilled in overseeing the procurement and lifecycle management of IT equipment, including laptops and specialized computing infrastructure. You have a knack for managing vendor relationships and IT-related budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently. Your experience with service desk management allows you to strategically optimize workflows, ensuring efficient resolution of tickets received through various channels.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead IT operations at Waabi, ensuring that all sites adhere to established IT policies and standards. You will design, implement, and manage disaster recovery plans, playing a crucial role in maintaining business continuity. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the procurement and lifecycle management of IT equipment, ensuring that all hardware meets the needs of the team.

You will manage vendor relationships and IT budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and optimized. Additionally, you will strategically manage the service desk workflow, ensuring that tickets are resolved efficiently and effectively. Your role will also involve designing, configuring, and maintaining a high-throughput, on-premise network to support the company's operations.
