Who you are
You are a curious and analytical individual eager to dive into the world of autonomous vehicles. As a Safety Methodologies Intern, you are excited about the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of safety frameworks that underpin driverless readiness decisions. You have a foundational understanding of data science and are comfortable working with data mining tools like SQL. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively across functional boundaries, and you are passionate about solving complex problems in innovative ways.
Desirable
You may have previous internship or academic experience in robotics, automotive, or data science, which will enhance your contributions to the team. Experience in creating data visualizations or dashboards is a plus, as it will help in presenting your findings effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the debugging and optimization of data pipelines and automated assessment workflows, playing a crucial part in validating the safety of Waabi's autonomous trucking solution. You will work closely with a team of experts, gaining insights into the methodologies that ensure the safety of self-driving technologies. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you quantitatively validate safety measures using highly realistic simulations and real-world data.
