You have a strong background in quality management systems, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Your expertise includes developing and implementing QMS policies and procedures that align with organizational goals. You understand the importance of quality in the context of autonomous driving technology and are passionate about improving operational processes. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to share your insights to enhance team performance. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that quality standards are consistently met across all operations.
Desirable
Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry or a related field is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards will set you apart. You are comfortable using data to drive decisions and have a knack for identifying areas for improvement within existing processes. A background in engineering or operations management can also be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the Quality Management System (QMS) across Waymo's value chain. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that quality standards are integrated into all aspects of operations. Your role will involve developing comprehensive documentation and procedures that reflect best practices in quality management. You will conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with established standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
