What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Trip Platform team, you will be responsible for implementing and scaling the core functionalities that support Waymo's ride-hailing and delivery services. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your role will involve designing and developing REST APIs that facilitate seamless interactions between various components of the trip platform. You will also engage in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the system, ensuring that it meets performance and reliability standards. Monitoring and optimizing the system's performance will be part of your daily tasks, as you strive to enhance the user experience for both riders and partners. You will participate in team meetings and contribute to the agile development process, helping to prioritize tasks and deliver features on time.
