You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience in software engineering. You possess strong programming skills in Java and Python, and you have a solid understanding of machine learning concepts. Your experience includes building scalable systems and working with data-driven applications. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance product efficiency. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for developing innovative solutions that drive impact. You thrive in a hybrid work environment and are comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will build state-of-the-art labeling infrastructure to enable the production of labeled datasets that are crucial for the development of autonomous driving technology. You will work closely with the labeling operations teams to identify process efficiencies and develop tooling that effectively manages large workforces and distributes tasks. You will also focus on improving the end-to-end efficiency of the data flywheel through automation and monitoring. Your contributions will directly enhance the Waymo Driver and support various models across the business. You will report to a Technical Lead Manager or Staff Software Engineer, collaborating with a talented team to push the boundaries of autonomous driving technology.
What we offer
Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $136,000—$173,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
