You have 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, particularly in embedded systems and low-level software development. Your experience with Android development and automotive systems positions you well for this role. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for improving mobility through technology.
Desirable
Experience with autonomous driving technologies or automotive infotainment systems is a plus. Familiarity with performance analysis tools and techniques will enhance your contributions to the team. A background in machine learning or data logging can also be beneficial as you work on cutting-edge technologies.
What you'll do
As a Senior Systems Engineer at Waymo, you will be responsible for developing the In-Vehicle Infotainment platform for our next-generation System-on-Chip. You will collaborate with hardware, compute, sensor, perception, and machine learning teams to ensure seamless integration and performance. Your role will involve low-level software development, focusing on optimizing system performance and ensuring low-latency communication. You will conduct thorough performance analysis and debugging to enhance the overall functionality of the Waymo Driver.
