You have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in building and scaling data systems that support business operations. You understand the importance of data architecture and have a proven track record of designing reliable data pipelines. You are comfortable working with stakeholders across different teams, including product, sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure that data solutions meet their needs. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for data-driven decision-making, always looking for ways to improve data processes and systems.
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes. You may also have experience with data visualization tools and understand how to present data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders. A background in e-commerce or marketplace environments would be beneficial, as it provides context for the types of data and analytics that drive business success.
What you'll do
As a Data Engineer at Whatnot, you will own the data architecture end-to-end, defining how critical business data is captured, modeled, and served.
